Aquatics & Water Park FAQ

General Questions

Q: What aquatic facilities does the City offer?
A: The City operates several aquatic facilities, including public pools and a water park with slides, a lazy river, splash pads, and other water features.

Q: Are there rules I should know before visiting?
A: Yes. All patrons must pay admission. Children must be supervised. Appropriate swimwear is required. Safety rules, including no horseplay, no glass, and no outside alcohol, are strictly enforced.

Q: What happens in case of bad weather?
A: Water attractions may temporarily close for safety during storms. Once it’s safe, operations resume.

Swim Lessons

Q: Does the City offer swim lessons?
A: Yes. Swim lessons are available through the aquatics division for a variety of skill levels. Registration details will be updated on this page: www.pasadenatx.gov/register

Q: Who can participate in swim lessons?
A: Swim lessons are open to all ages and skill levels, with classes designed to build confidence and water safety skills.


Admission & Fees

Q: What are the admission options?
A: Guests can choose daily admission or season pass options. There may be different pricing for residents, non-residents, children, and seniors. Click HERE for more details. 

Q: Are there additional fees for programs?
A: Yes. Programs such as swim lessons and water exercise passes usually have separate costs.


Outside Food

Q: Can I bring my own food?
A: Outside food and coolers may be allowed at some pool locations, but are not permitted at Strawberry Water Park.


Safety & Accessibility

Q: What safety measures are in place?
A: Lifeguards are on duty, safety rules are enforced, and life jackets are recommended for non-swimmers.
