The Recreation Department offers a variety of programs and activities for all age groups, ranging from youth activities, adult exercise programs, as well as programming for our senior citizens.
The Recreation Department currently offers programs through our:
- Adaptive Recreation Center (Verne Cox - People With Disabilities)
- Aquatics Department
- Athletics (PAL Gym)
- Golf Course
- Museum
- Recreation Centers For Youth
- Senior Center (Madison Jobe)
- Swimming Pools
From daily programming at our community centers to special events such as Kites & Fishing, our International Wheelchair Basketball Tournament, or our Veteran's Luncheon, the Recreation Department has a program for you!
SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE:
The City of Pasadena recognizes that some residents are financially unable to participate in programs offered by the Pasadena Parks & Recreation Department but still desire the opportunity to experience the benefits of recreational programs and/or services. Pasadena Parks & Recreation offers a Scholarship Program to make recreational programs and/or memberships available to as many City of Pasadena residents as possible.
Eligibility for financial assistance is based on family size and income. Applications can be submitted at any time throughout the year. CLICK HERE to view the application and eligibility criteria!
