Biography
Born and raised in Pasadena, Johnny Fusilier Jr. carries forward a legacy of hard work and community dedication inspired by his father, Johnny Sr., who successfully operated multiple local businesses for over 50 years. This foundation instilled in Johnny a deep commitment to serving others and uplifting his community.
Johnny attended Pasadena’s public schools and graduated from South Houston High School before studying marketing and management at the University of Houston. After earning his master’s degree from Dallas Theological Seminary, he returned to Pasadena to raise his family—a proud father of five children who all attend Pasadena schools. Focused on community development, Johnny has worked extensively with neighborhood nonprofits to build sports programming and increase community engagement. He managed a federally funded after-school program in Pasadena, positively impacting local youth, and currently serves as a physical education teacher in Pasadena ISD, promoting health and wellness among students and families.
In addition to his professional work, Johnny is an active church member and a board member of the South Houston High School Alumni Association. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, cheering on the Houston Cougars, attending local sporting events, running, biking, fishing, and coaching youth sports. Johnny Fusilier Jr. exemplifies a life dedicated to education, leadership, and community service—continuously striving to make a meaningful difference in Pasadena.
